About Us
The Muirfins Swim Team is a summer recreational team established in 1980 for Muirfield Village residents ages 5 -18.
Our mission is to get Muirfield kids off whatever couch they're on or screen they're glued to and out in the sunshine for some good, healthy, summer fun and competition!
Each year 145-160 children join the team and have fun with their friends while improving their swimming skills. Swimmers of all levels are welcome with 1 condition: swimmer must be able to swim the length of the pool (25m) without stopping, touching pool bottom, hanging on lane line or side wall.
Swimmers of all ages will improve their skills, technique, and speed in each of the four competitive strokes: freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly. And, importantly, they'll have loads of fun while doing so! Just have your prospective swimmer ask their Muirfins friends about Friday FUNdays!
We compete in the N-E-W League against:

- Dublin Dolphins Atlantic
- Dublin Dolphins Pacific
- Marysville Stingrays
- Lifetime Fitness Swim Ohio
- Olentangy Tornadoes
- Plain City Sharks
- Sycamore Hills Swim Club
- Jerome Village
We also compete in the Irish Relays against the Dublin Dolphins (Arctic, Atlantic & Pacific), TCC Marlins, and Tartan Fields Aqua Scots.
Many of our kids have swum with the Muirfins for over 10 years and returned to coach - it's that much FUN! Come see for yourself!
For those who are still unsure:
Please talk to our President BEFORE you register. Try us out through the first week of practice. If your swimmer is happy - awesome! If you feel it's not the right time or sport for your child, we will refund your registration fee, minus a $25 processing charge (this covers non-refundable expenses incurred by the Boosters, e.g., swimmer insurance, processing/chargeback fees etc.).
